Work Report Contacts
Work Report Contacts define who's involved when a report goes out — who approves it, and who else should know about it. The same contacts list appears in two places, filtered to whichever record you're on:
- The Customer Card, under a new Work Reports section.
- The Project Card, filtered to that specific project — but only once the project is complete or still open (contacts become read-only once a Project is marked Complete), and only when that project's Project Type has Approval Flow set to Work Report. If you don't see the Work Report Contacts section on a Project Card, check the project's type first — this is the most common reason it's missing.
Fields
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| No. | Required — the contact's identifier. |
| Role | Required — Work Report Approver (this contact receives the report and approves or rejects it) or Work Report CC (this contact is copied on report emails but has no approve/reject action of their own). A report needs at least one Approver contact to have anywhere to send to. |
| Name | The contact's display name. |
| Where report-related notifications go. | |
| Phone No. | Contact phone number. |
| Internal Note | Visible only internally — never shown to the customer. |
Auto Approve override
The Customer Card also carries its own Auto Approve Offset field, in the same Work Reports section as the contacts list. Set here, it overrides the company-wide default from Work Report Setup → Auto Approve for reports tied to that specific customer — leave it blank to fall back to the company default.
