Web App Guide
Welcome to the Time Track Central web app documentation. The web app is a single page application with five top-level tabs — which ones you see depends on which modules your company has enabled and on your own role:
- Time Sheets — record and submit hours. See Time Management.
- Absences — request and review absences. See Absence Registration.
- Expenses — expense claims and mileage. See Expense Claims.
- Work Reports — bundle approved hours into customer-facing reports. See Work Reports.
- Manager — only shown to team or global admins; covers approvals, payroll export, and resource/capacity planning. See Management and Capacity Management.
Cutting across all of these:
- Introduction — what Time Track Central is and how it fits with Business Central.
- Screen Division — the recurring layout pattern (navigation, entry form, details, summary/totals) and the color-coded status labels used throughout.
- Various — profile menu options: working under another employee, language, and BC-side icon/logging settings.
Getting started
- Read the Introduction for the general concept.
- Read Screen Division so the entry form / details / summary layout makes sense on every tab.
- Go to Time Sheets and record your first hours.
There is no separate in-app "Settings" page — module and permission configuration is done in Business Central, not in the web app itself.
