Introduction
Time Track Central is a web app extension for Microsoft Business Central that adds time and absence tracking, expense claims, and work reports on top of it. It's designed for small and medium-sized organizations that want an efficient way to track time and bill for it, without maintaining a separate system — all data lives directly in Business Central, so resource information stays accessible from the heart of your operations. Quick implementation, easy configuration, and a philosophy that emphasizes simplicity are what set it apart.
Which of the following you actually see depends on which modules your company has enabled and on your own role — see the Web App Guide for the full tab-by-tab breakdown.
Time Sheets — record and submit hours against projects, using Business Central's standard Timesheets under the hood but with a much faster entry experience. See Time Management.
Absences — request and review absences, with team leaders and managers able to monitor and approve them. See Absence Registration.
Expenses — submit expense claims and mileage from the same interface as timesheets, instead of spreadsheets and receipts in a drawer. Approval happens entirely in Business Central, so finance keeps a complete overview. See Expense Claims.
Work Reports — send a customer a report of worked hours for their approval, accessible afterward through their own portal link. Its standout feature is bundling hours from multiple employees into a single report, rather than one report per person. See Work Reports.
Manager — for team or global admins: approvals, payroll export, and resource/capacity planning. See Management and Capacity Management.
Setting up which of these modules are active, and configuring how each one behaves, is done in Business Central — see the Business Central Configuration section.
