Work-Hour Templates

Work-Hour Templates is Business Central's standard capacity-planning page, reachable from Setup. Time Track Central uses it to calculate a resource's expected capacity — see Web App: Capacity Management for how this shows up to employees.

A template defines the number of hours expected per day; assign it to a resource via the resource card (see Resource Settings), or set a company-wide default under Resources Setup so new resources don't need it set manually.

Fields Time Track Central adds

Field	Description
Holiday	The number of hours this template expects on a public holiday — normally 0. Public holidays (like weekends) are already handled specially in the underlying capacity calculation, so this field exists only for the exception case: a template whose resources are still expected to work some hours on a holiday. Which dates count as a holiday in the first place is configured separately — see Public Holidays.
Assigned Resources	Read-only — how many resources currently use this template, so you can see at a glance whether a template is safe to modify or retire.
