Work Variants

Work Variants (reachable from Setup) let employees flag something extra about a booked line — an overnight stay, a flight, materials used — that should be charged to the customer alongside the hours themselves. When a work variant is selected on a timesheet line, its configured items are posted to the project.

Whether a Project Type requires a work variant to be selected is controlled per type — see Project Types: Work Variant Mandatory.
