Approval type
Specifies how submitted lines for this job type are approved.

| By approver | The hours need to be approved by a time sheet admin |
| On submit | Automatic approval of hours |
| Work report | A work report will be emailed to the customer, hours will be posted after approval |
Travel posting type
Specifies which travel values are transferred to the job ledger.

| Input fields | Employees can enter travel time and distance manually |
| Customer location | Employee can pick a customer location |
| Highest value | Highest customer location |
| Lowest value | Lowest customer location |
Line type
Specifies the line type for the job journal when posting time sheets. If you leave this empty, no planning lines will be created even if "Link Usage" is enabled on the job.
| Line Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Both Budget and Billable | The cost and price amounts entered on the planning line are the budgeted costs for the particular planning line. The price amount will be invoiced. |
| Budget | The customer is not charged for usage. Usage is not transferred to an invoice, but will still be used in the calculation of WIP. |
| Billable | The customer is charged for usage. Usage is transferred to the invoice, based on the quantity specified in the Qty. to Transfer to Invoice field. |
Chargeable
Specifies if the hours booked on jobs with this type are chargeable. If they are non-chargeable, the "Unit Price" is set to zero in the Job Journal.
Allow Zero Quantity
Specifies if zero hours quantity is allowed. You could allow this to only post travel time and/or distance.
Require Work Variant
Specifies if it is required to selected a work variant before you can submit a time sheet line.
Min Description Length
Specifies if the employee needs to set a minimum description length before a line can be submitted. 0 is not enforced length.
No. Jobs
Specifies the total number of jobs with this jobs type. Also is a list of jobs.
Enabled
Specifies if the job type can be chosen by a job.
